# Pasta in Cream Sauce with Smoked Salmon

A simple cream sauce pasta with red onion, garlic, and strips of smoked salmon. I make it when I want a hot meal fast.

## What you need

- 1 lb Pasta
- 3½ oz Smoked salmon
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 Red onion (diced)
- 1 clove Garlic (crushed)
- 2 cups Heavy cream (2 containers)
- Salt, pepper

## How I make it

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta.
2. Cut the salmon into strips.
3. Melt the butter in a skillet and lightly sauté the onion and garlic.
4. Add the cream and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
5. Season with salt and pepper, add the pasta and salmon, and stir.
6. Cook for about 2 minutes and serve hot.
